10-Day Peru Adventure Package

After a relaxing night, in the morning around 5 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in our tourist transportation heading south along the Peruvian coast, specifically to Paracas. The trip will take approximately 4 hours.

Once in Paracas, we will embark on an exciting journey to the Ballestas Islands. Here, you will have the opportunity to witness the best of the marine wildlife along the Peruvian coast, including Humboldt penguins, guano birds and sea lions.

We will return to the port for a well-deserved rest and prepare to continue our journey to Ica, a city renowned for its high quality export grapes. Here we will visit an artisan winery where you can taste wines and piscos. You will also have time to enjoy a delicious lunch (not included) at the winery’s restaurant.

Our last stop will be Huacachina, famous for its oasis, its imposing dunes and its delicious Peruvian pisco. In Huacachina, we will go deep into the dunes of the oasis and practice exciting adventure sports such as sandboarding and buggies, which will guarantee moments full of adrenaline and fun.

After a day full of adventure and maximum enjoyment, we will return to Lima with our hearts and memories full of unforgettable moments. Estimated arrival in Lima around 22:00 hours.

After enjoying the best of the Peruvian coast, it’s time to explore Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. We will get ready early in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel in Lima. We will pick you up in our private transportation and head to the Lima Airport at least 2 hours in advance.

After a 1 hour drive through the Andes Mountains, we will arrive in Cusco. Once you pick up your luggage, a member of our team will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Once settled and ready to explore a bit of Cusco in the afternoon, we will help you stroll along the main avenues, allowing you to do some shopping, currency exchange, etc. After this relaxing afternoon, you will enjoy a quiet evening in the city center and recharge your batteries for the next day.

Early, around 8:00 a.m., we will start a new day of touring, beginning with the salt mines of Maras and the site of Moray: the circular terraces of Moray and the natural salt pools of Maras.

Both sites served important functions during Inca times. Moray was designated as an Inca laboratory that served to acclimatize seeds for distribution across different altitudinal strata. Likewise, salt from Maras served as a form of trade in the area.

During this half-day trip, you will have the opportunity to visit a part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, enjoy enchanting views, meet alpacas and llamas, and interact with the local population.

To end this day, our private transportation will take you to Chinchero, a town known for its colorful products. Here you will appreciate the art of weaving, witnessing firsthand how they collect wool and then transform it into sweaters, scarves, shawls and more.

In the afternoon we will return to Cusco to rest in our hotel room.

After enjoying our first day of acclimatization in Cusco, it’s time to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We start the tour by picking you up from your hotel around 7:50 am to head to our first stop in the Sacred Valley of the Incas: Pisac.

After an hour’s drive, we will arrive at the Archaeological Site of Pisac, an important Inca urban and religious center that played a crucial role due to its wide perimeter.

Here you will receive a detailed explanation of the importance of this site while admiring the famous structures such as the terraces, the towers, the Inca cemetery, the K’alla Q’asa, the towers, the Amaru Punku, among others.

After our interesting tour, we will descend to the town of Pisac, known for its handicraft market and the production of gold and silver handicrafts. Here, you will have free time to buy local handicrafts and souvenirs.

We will head to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, and then continue our journey to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo. This site is an important fortress, rich in legacy and evidence of Inca architectural technology. Our guide will lead us through the imposing Inca constructions, giving us one of the most representative tours of Cusco. We will observe aqueducts, terraces, temples, streets and legends in one of the geographical points that houses towns of pure Inca ancestry.

To conclude this day, we will enjoy the peaceful sounds of the river and the city in a comfortable local hotel, ready to board the train the next morning.

We will arrive at the train station and board our train to the town of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo, where our journey in search of the Wonder of the World will begin. Our train ride will last almost 2 hours, passing through the edge of the Cusco jungle.

We will enjoy the views on board this tourist train. Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting to assist you with check-in at your hotel room in Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo. You will have the afternoon free to explore the charms of this cozy village or recharge your batteries before the long-awaited day. Later, our guide will visit you to provide final instructions for the next day’s trek to Machu Picchu.

Rest peacefully in the comfort and tranquility of the local hotel.

The long-awaited moment has finally arrived. We wake up early, have breakfast at the hotel and head to the bus station to head to Machu Picchu. Our guide will accompany and assist you.

After a 25-minute ride on the transport that will finally take us to Machu Picchu, we will descend and finally be at the entrance to this fascinating wonder of the world, where dreams begin to come true.

You will have a private guided tour where you will learn about the mysteries of this special place in the world. You will soak up its energy, visit viewpoints, temples and the most important sites according to the route you choose.

After marveling at the beauty of this imposing wonder, we will descend to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo to enjoy some free time, have lunch (not included) and rest before boarding the return train. At the scheduled time, you will take your train back to Ollantaytambo, then travel to Cusco in our private transportation, arriving at our hotel in Cusco in the evening.

Very early, around 5:00 am approximately, we will pick you up from your hotel to head for almost 2.5 hours to the Humantay Lagoon. We will arrive at Mollepata to enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast and then continue for another hour to our starting point.

Once ready to start our hike, our transportation will leave you at an approximate altitude of 5000 meters above sea level, and we will begin the ascent to the Humantay Lagoon, which has an approximate duration of 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach the highest point. It is a hike of moderate difficulty, but we assure you that it will be completely worth it because when you arrive, you will find the true turquoise treasure.

If the trail becomes too difficult, you have the option of renting a horse to ascend to the lagoon (not included). Enjoy the view, the fresh air and the flora and fauna of these heights. Once we reach the top, we will have enough time to take pictures and enjoy a detailed explanation from our guide. Remember that the hike is done in group, and we will always be attentive to you and we will go at your pace, this is a scenic hike enjoying the magic of nature.

After some free time, we will begin our descent for approximately 1.5 hours. On the way down, the trail will be less intense and we will be more than satisfied to have witnessed the beautiful turquoise waters of this enchanting lagoon.

In Soraypampa we will take the transport back to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch to recover energy and rest our legs. At the end we will return to Cusco in our private transportation, following the same route of the morning. Around 6:00 pm, our tour will be over after dropping you off at your hotel.

Another day of trekking awaits us. After our training at the Humantay Lagoon, today we will head to the northern part of Cusco to marvel at the colors of the Rainbow Mountain or Vinicunca. Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel around 4:00 am. We will depart from the city of Cusco to this enchanting mountain, a journey of almost 2 hours to our breakfast stop.

In Cusipata we will enjoy a delicious and comforting breakfast before continuing by car to Llacto, the starting point of our trek. After a one hour ride in our private transportation, we will descend to almost 4000 meters above sea level to begin our adventure. Before starting, our team will provide you with trekking poles to use during the hike.

From here to the lookout point, for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, we will enjoy sightings of alpacas, llamas, wild flora, the local population and most importantly, the breathtaking distant view of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain.

For the classic photo it is necessary to ascend to 5,020 meters (16,466 feet). Its colors and beauty will leave us speechless. This moment is magical, because we will have before our eyes the world famous 7 Colors Mountain. Many say it is a landscape from another planet, never seen before. Don’t worry about time, you will have enough space to take pictures and enjoy the tranquility at the top of the mountain.

Finally, in the afternoon, we will return to the starting point and enjoy a buffet lunch in the village to recharge your batteries. Once finished, happy and with a heart full of having experienced the best of Cusco, we will return to your hotel, arriving around 5:00 pm.

Happy to have had an extraordinary adventure, it’s time to say goodbye to Cusco. After breakfast, according to your flight itinerary, we will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight.

If your international flight leaves very early, departure from Cusco to Lima will be the night before.
