Day 3: Nazca Lines flight – Return to Lima (Lima)

Day 4: Flight from Lima to Cusco – Chocolate workshop experience (Cusco)

Day 5: Llama trek with picnic in Chinchero (Cusco)

In the afternoon, enjoy a two-wheel tour through the district of Miraflores, making stops at Huaca Pucllana, the Miraflores boardwalk, and the Love Park, from where you’ll take in the scenic ocean views and Lima’s Green Coast. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours. In the evening, we recommend dining at a local restaurant of your choice and getting ready for the next day’s adventure in Lima.

We’ll start the journey early in the morning with a 4-hour drive along the Peruvian coast to the port of Paracas, where we’ll board a speedboat for a 2-hour tour to the Ballestas Islands. As we navigate the Peruvian sea, we’ll admire the marine wildlife of the coast. On the way, we’ll stop to observe the famous Candelabro, a large geoglyph etched in the sand that is believed to be connected to the Nazca Lines. From the boat, we’ll also spot guano birds, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, Peruvian pelicans, boobies, otters, and other native species, as well as dramatic rock formations that create a stunning seascape.
We’ll then head to Tacama, an ancient vineyard (400 m.a.s.l. / 1,313 ft), where we’ll learn all about Peruvian wines and pisco. Enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard, participate in a wine and pisco tasting, and have the option to enjoy lunch on-site.
After lunch, we’ll drive to the Huacachina desert oasis (406 m.a.s.l. / 1,333 ft). Get ready for an unforgettable desert adventure! We’ll ride dune buggies to the top of the dunes and enjoy spectacular views of the sunset. You’ll also get the chance to try sandboarding, sliding down the dunes on a board. If any family member prefers not to participate in these activities, they can still enjoy the view and take amazing photos. After the experience, we’ll head to Nazca, arriving in the evening to rest and prepare for the next day.

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll depart around 7:45 AM for the Nazca airfield. After checking in with your passport, you’ll wait your turn for the scenic flight (subject to weather conditions). Experienced pilots will ensure a safe and comfortable flight as you take in views of the famous Nazca geoglyphs such as the Whale, Trapezoids, Monkey, Condor, Hummingbird, Flamingo, and more. Decode the mystery of these ancient lines that continue to intrigue researchers.
After the overflight, we’ll return to the hotel to collect your bags and enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants. Then we’ll begin our 5-hour journey back to Lima, arriving at your hotel in the evening.

Three hours before your domestic flight to Cusco, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Lima airport. After a 60-minute flight, you’ll arrive at the Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport in Cusco (3,310 m.a.s.l. / 10,860 ft), where a private transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the historic center.
In the afternoon, around 3:30 PM, you’ll visit the ChocoMuseo for an interactive chocolate workshop. Learn about the history, production, and preparation of Peruvian chocolate and even make your own chocolate bar with your favorite toppings—an ideal activity for families to enjoy together.

After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll pick you up around 8:00 AM and head 40 minutes to the district of Chinchero, specifically the village of Pongobamba, a charming Andean village by Lake Piuray. Upon arrival, locals dressed in colorful traditional clothing will greet you with music and joy, eager to share their culture with you.
Enjoy a trek with llamas and alpacas along scenic trails overlooking the lake, while locals explain how these animals were historically used to transport goods. You’ll have the chance to dress in traditional attire and take unforgettable family photos. You’ll also learn about local medicinal plants and agricultural products, and hear the fascinating legends about Lake Piuray.
After this magical walk, we’ll have a picnic featuring local fruits and wine with stunning lake views, surrounded by llamas and alpacas—an experience your family will never forget. We’ll return to Cusco around 2:00 PM.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 7:40 am, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin a full-day tour of the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be the scenic viewpoint of Taray, from where you can admire the unique landscape of the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery.
Next, we’ll visit the archaeological site of Pisac (2972 m / 9751 ft), built atop a mountain and featuring watchtowers and agricultural terraces ingeniously constructed to enable farming at high altitude. We will also explore the Pisac artisan market.
Then, we’ll head to Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch made with local ingredients. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to the town of Ollantaytambo, known as the “living Inca city” due to its preservation of ancient culture and traditions. We’ll visit the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, an important Inca religious and military center with terraces, ceremonial buildings, water channels, and giant stone doorways.
On our return to Cusco, we’ll make one last stop in the town of Chinchero, famous for its impressive terraces and textile workshops. Here, the locals preserve ancestral traditions and showcase symbolic designs that honor the Apus (sacred mountains) and nearby lagoons. We’ll then return to your hotel in Cusco.

After breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, we’ll transfer you to Poroy train station to board the Vistadome Observatory service, which includes live music and entertainment onboard. This scenic journey to Aguas Calientes lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, winding through lush vegetation and alongside the Urubamba River.
Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting to escort you to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore the peaceful town of Aguas Calientes, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, or optionally walk about 20 minutes to visit the Butterfly Garden (Mariposario) along the railway tracks to Hidroeléctrica.

Today we’ll depart early to be among the first to enter Machu Picchu—don’t forget your passport!
We’ll take one of the first buses from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. The 35–40-minute ride ascends a zigzagging road through dense vegetation until we reach the entrance at 2430 m / 7972 ft. (Note: There are no restrooms inside the citadel, so use the facilities before entering.)
With your private guide, you’ll explore the designated route through this magical and sacred site. You’ll be amazed by the Incas’ advanced architecture and hydraulic engineering. The guide will pause at key locations like temples, plazas, and terraces to share fascinating historical insights and allow for photos.
After approximately 2.5 hours, we’ll return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have lunch on your own at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, depending on your train schedule, head to the station 30 minutes before departure. Board the train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, private transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 5:00 am and drive for approximately 2 hours through the southern valley to the town of Cusipata, where we’ll have a buffet breakfast.
We’ll then continue for about 1 hour and 40 minutes to the starting point of the hike to Palccoyo Mountain. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Andes’ flora and fauna.
From the parking area, we’ll begin our gentle walk to the summit. The trek takes about 50 minutes to 1 hour. At the top, you’ll reach 4900 m / 16076 ft and enjoy panoramic views of the rainbow-colored mountain ranges in hues of red, ochre, and magenta.
After some time for photos and rest, we’ll return to the vehicle and head back to Cusipata for a buffet lunch, then return to Cusco around 3:00 pm.
This trek is ideal for children and seniors, as it requires minimal hiking to enjoy the scenery.
